Event Details

Rob Vandenabeele, founder of ecofriendlybeer.com and field manager for UMass Boston's Green Brewery EPA Grant Project, will give a presentation and lead a panel discussion with other industry insiders about how to be a sustainable consumer and brewer of beer.

The presentation and panel will begin at 7:30 PM, but doors will open for the event at 7 PM. Portico, Lamplighter, Castle Island, and Cambridge Brewing Co will all be on tap (or in growlers), available with a donation. Taste test all four before you take your seat, guided by a licensed cicerone Allo Gilinsky. And don't forget to grab a slice of pizza (regular, GF, and vegan) from OTTO!

Erika Andersen

VP, Marketing

Erika Anderson wears many hats within the local craft beer scene: retail employee at homebrew shop Beer & Wine Hobby in Danvers, co-host of the popular BrewRoots beer podcast, and marketing manager for the Boston Chapter of the Pink Boots Society, which assists, inspires and encourages women and non-binary individuals in the fermented beverage industries. If that weren't enough, she was recently hired as an assistant brewer at Spyglass Brewing in New Hampshire.
